There comes a point in life where us blokes stop making time for each other.
We catch up for birthdays. We catch up for weddings. We catch up for funerals. But somewhere along the way, we stop catching up simply because we enjoy each other's company.
I reckon that's a mistake.
Golf has always been the excuse. Four hours walking beside someone, talking rubbish one minute and somehow solving the world's problems the next. Some of the best conversations I've ever had weren't sitting across a boardroom table—they were walking down the middle of a fairway.
That's exactly why we created the Pattaya Men's Golf Week.
This isn't about escaping your life. It's about pressing pause for a week.
A week of outstanding golf. A few cold beers after each round. Plenty of laughs. Good food. Friendly competition. Meeting blokes from all walks of life who all share one thing in common—they love the game.
Over the years I've watched complete strangers arrive on the first day and leave a week later already planning their next trip together. That's what this week is really about.
The golf just happens to be exceptional.
We've put together some seriously good golf courses for this week. Pattana, Siam Country Club Rolling Hills, Laem Chabang International Country Club and Chee Chan all offer something completely different.
Choosing where to stay was just as important.
We wanted somewhere modern, comfortable and central. Somewhere you could finish your round, enjoy the rooftop with a cold drink, wander into town for dinner if you felt like it, and still be close to everything. Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya ticked every box and feels like the perfect base for the week.
If you've got a little more time, I'd encourage you to think beyond just one week.
We've timed this event to follow directly after our Fusion Vietnam Invitational. With daily flights between Da Nang and Bangkok, it's incredibly easy to combine both events into an unforgettable two-week golf holiday featuring eight championship golf courses across two of Asia's very best golfing destinations. If you are interested in that, check this package out by clicking here.

Welcome to Thailand.
Upon arrival into Bangkok, you'll be met by our local team before travelling by private coach to Pattaya, our home for the week.
After checking into Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya, take some time to settle in before meeting the rest of the group for our Welcome Dinner at one of our favourite local Thai restaurants.
Over authentic Thai cuisine, a few beers and plenty of laughs, you'll meet the golfers you'll be sharing the week with. By the end of the evening you'll probably already know a few names—and by the end of the week, you'll know everyone.
It's the perfect way to begin what promises to be an unforgettable week.
We couldn't think of a better place to start the week than Pattana Golf Club.
With generous fairways, beautifully presented conditioning and 27 championship holes winding through lakes and tropical gardens, Pattana offers the perfect opening test. Challenging enough to get the competitive juices flowing, yet forgiving enough to ease everyone into tournament mode.
Today's format is a relaxed Two Ball Better Ball, giving everyone the chance to meet new playing partners for round one.
Following the round we'll head back to Siam@Siam where our rooftop 19th Hole awaits.
Enjoy dinner, a few well-earned beers and nightly presentations as the stories from the first day begin.
Today we head to one of Thailand's newest championship layouts.
Rolling Hills isn't your traditional golf course. Massive bunkers, dramatic elevation changes and some wonderfully bold design features make this one of the most enjoyable rounds you'll play all week. Every hole has its own personality, and there's no shortage of memorable moments waiting.
Today's format is a relaxed Ambrose, making it another great opportunity to meet someone new. With a partner by your side, it's a chance to enjoy the golf, have a few laughs and ease into the week before the tournament begins.
Tonight we return to the rooftop for another 19th Hole gathering, complete with dinner, beverages and daily presentations.
No alarms.
No tee times.
No schedule.
Today's yours.
Sleep in, enjoy breakfast, relax by the rooftop pool, book yourself a massage, explore Pattaya or simply spend the afternoon catching up with the boys over lunch.
Some will wander into town or book an extra game through our team.
Some won't leave the hotel.
Both are perfectly good decisions.
Sometimes doing very little turns out to be one of the best parts of the week.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Laem Chabang has long been regarded as one of Thailand's finest golf courses.
Its three distinct nine-hole layouts—Mountain, Lake and Valley—provide a wonderful variety of holes, with every stretch presenting a different challenge.
Today's format is one of the favourites on the calendar—Teams Skins.
You'll join three other golfers to form a team, and yes, coming up with a team name is all part of the fun. Each hole becomes its own mini competition, with your team's combined Stableford score taking on every other team in the field. Win the hole outright and your team claims the prize. If no team wins the hole outright, the prize carries over, making the next hole even more valuable.
It's a format that keeps everyone involved from the first tee to the last putt, and there's always a bit of friendly banter when a carry-over is on the line.
After another great day on the course, we'll return to Siam@Siam for our nightly rooftop 19th Hole, complete with dinner, drinks, presentations and plenty of friendly banter.
If you're going to finish a golf trip, this is how you do it.
Set beneath the famous Khao Chee Chan Buddha Mountain, Chee Chan Golf Resort provides one of the most spectacular settings in Asian golf.
Wide fairways, immaculate conditioning and dramatic scenery create a fitting stage for the final round of the Pattaya Men's Golf Week.
For our final day, we'll switch to an Individual Stableford competition.
By now, everyone knows each other, the friendships have been made, and the competition has well and truly come to life. It's a relaxed way to finish the week, giving everyone one last chance to play some good golf, enjoy the company of their new mates and finish the tour on a high.
This evening we'll celebrate together at our Farewell Dinner at one of Pattaya's favourite local restaurants. Over great food, cold drinks and tournament presentations, we'll relive the week's highlights, recognise our winners and no doubt begin talking about where we're all heading next.
After breakfast it's time to say goodbye.
Transfers will depart for Bangkok International Airport throughout the morning.
Hopefully you'll head home with a trophy, maybe a better golf swing, definitely a few stories, and almost certainly a handful of new mates.

I love the way it's stress free golf and how well it's run
Mark and his team’s attention to detail lifted our experience to the next level.
Hotels were fantastic from old world elegance to beachside luxury.
I loved the golf playing 7 beautiful courses all very different and challenging.
