Get ready for one of the most unforgettable weeks in golf.
The Hua Hin Invitational is a signature event on the Golf Journeys calendar—professionally organised, incredibly fun, and held in one of the world’s most beautiful golf destinations. Designed for golfers who love a blend of friendly competition, great company, and stunning championship courses, this is more than just a tournament—it’s a week you’ll be talking about for years.
Hosted in the seaside town of Hua Hin (voted the world’s best golf destination), you’ll tee off at three top-rated courses, including Black Mountain—ranked among the world’s top 100. The event welcomes both men and women with an official golf handicap, whether you’re a seasoned tournament traveller or diving in for your very first event.
With A, B, and C grade divisions, you’ll be paired with golfers at a similar level, making it easy to meet new people and form lasting friendships with fellow golfers from across Australia and beyond.
And if one epic week just isn’t enough? Extend your adventure by joining the full Thailand Golf Tour, which includes Pattaya, Bangkok, and the Hua Hin Invitational over three incredible weeks. Because let’s face it—three weeks in paradise beats one, every time.
Ask one of our friendly golf travel specialists for details—we’re here to help you make the most of your journey.
We’re thrilled to welcome you. This is more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of golf, friendship, and memories that last a lifetime.

Meeting you upon arrival into Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) is our guide. For your comfort, transfer services are dedicated to meet each flight, in either a spacious SUV or high-top van.
Your accommodation, the G Hua Hin Resort is one of the best places to stay in Hua Hin. The hotel offers luxurious accommodations with spacious rooms and suites, featuring modern amenities and stylish decor. An ideal location, situated in the heart of Hua Hin and within walking distance to bars, restaurants, Hua Hin Beach and many local attractions
The hotel has been fully booked for participants and offers a high level of customer service, with friendly and helpful staff that are dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests.
After check in and registration, we will kick off the week of golf and fun with The Invitational Welcome Ceremony. This evening you’ll get to enjoy a sumptuous Thai buffet inclusive of beer, wine, soft drinks & entertainment. It’s the perfect opportunity to let your hair down and meet like-minded golfers from across the globe.
Today we will let you have a warm up round on one of the best courses in Thailand - Pineapple Valley. Today’s round will help you ease into the tournament and is a fun 2 Person Four Ball Better Ball round with plenty of prizes up for grabs, you can opt to nominate your playing partner or register as a single entrant and tournament organisers will find one for you.
For the Non Golfers, indulge in an exquisite High Tea with Champagne by the beach, a perfect retreat for non-golfers to connect and unwind in style. Set against the stunning backdrop of our pristine shoreline, this elegant affair features an array of gourmet finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, delicate pastries, and premium teas, all complemented by a glass of sparkling champagne. This luxurious morning offers a serene escape, impeccable service, and an opportunity to forge new friendships in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
After your round of golf, you’ll be transferred back to your host hotel with time to freshen up before tonight’s presentations of today’s winners. The 19th hole is where you’ll get to meet new people and enjoy the festivities inclusive of a selection of beverages and canapés.
Round 1 of the Hua Hin Invitational begins at Springfield Royal, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course that stands as one of Hua Hin’s most respected layouts. Known for its sweeping fairways, strategically placed hazards, and undulating greens, it’s a course that rewards thoughtful shot-making—especially on approach. With its blend of challenge and playability, Springfield Royal sets the perfect stage to open the week.
Players will compete within their respective divisions, with pairings shuffled daily to keep the tournament friendly and social. B and C Grade players will play the 54-hole event in a single stableford format, while A Grade players will contest both stroke and stableford. Daily prizes will be awarded across all divisions, along with nearest the pin contests to keep things lively.
Non Golfers today will try their hands at Thai cooking. Anya and her Cooking Class has been very popular here in Hua Hin for many years. She has spent quite a lot of her life in Australia, and speaks excellent English. Not only does she have a passion for cooking, you will learn a lot from her garden where she grows her own herbs and spices.
After your round of golf, you’ll be transferred back to your host hotel with time to freshen up before tonight’s presentations of today’s winners.
Today offers the perfect opportunity to explore more of this charming seaside destination. You might choose to wander the local palace grounds—Hua Hin was once a favourite escape for Thai royalty, and King Rama VII even built a summer palace here for his queen, naming it Wang Klai Kang Won, which translates to Far From Worries. The name alone captures the spirit of this place.
For those craving a deeper cultural experience, consider joining a full-day tour to the Bridge over the River Kwai and Hellfire Pass. It’s a powerful and moving journey through history, and a chance to see a different side of Thailand. Or, for something equally memorable, join us on a Thailand Journey Food Tour—a delicious way to experience the country’s rich culture through its flavours. From much-loved local dishes to hidden culinary gems, it’s a chance to taste Thailand in a way that’s immersive, authentic, and full of discovery.
Of course, if you’re itching for more golf, an extra round can easily be arranged.
And later, we invite you to a night that’s become a bit of a tradition—our much-loved Pizza Night. It may sound unusual to rave about pizza in Thailand, but trust us: it’s a highlight. The owner, a retired Italian golfer who now calls Hua Hin home, welcomes us to his nearby restaurant and takes care of us like old friends. Great food, plenty of laughs, and a relaxed, festive atmosphere—it’s one of those nights you won’t forget.
Whether you’re exploring, playing, or simply relaxing today, we hope it adds another layer to what’s already shaping up to be an unforgettable week.
Round 2 of the Hua Hin Invitational. Players will play with new people each day within their respective division. Today’s round of golf is on a course that needs little introduction - Black Mountain. Those who know, know, and the rest well you just have to play here to experience it for yourself. Built at the base of a large dormant volcano by successful swedish businessman Stig Notlov. The course has won many accolades including the title of Thailand’s best golf course. Daily winners will be awarded with prizes within each division as well as NTPs.
Our Non Golfers today will spend a day discovering Hua Hin’s best sights & surrounds. Visit the royal palace, Hua Hin Railway station built in the reign of Kimi Rama VI and Khao Takiab Vantage point for a stunning view and stop for lunch.
After your afternoon round of golf, you’ll be transferred back to your host hotel before freshening up for tonight’s presentations. Enjoy a selection of beverages and canapes as we award today’s winners.
Today marks the final round of the Hua Hin Invitational—the last chance to make your move on the leaderboard, enjoy one more great round with new playing partners, and soak in the spirit of friendly competition that’s defined the week.
As with previous days, players will be grouped within their respective divisions, with fresh pairings to keep things social. B and C Grades will continue in the single stableford format, while A Grade will compete using stroke and nett scoring.
Fittingly, we finish at Pineapple Valley, a course that’s as memorable as it is magnificent. Consistently recognised with awards for its design and playability—not to mention a clubhouse that ranks among the best in Asia—this course delivers a fitting grand finale. With sweeping views stretching toward the Burmese mountains, it invites bold play and rewards those who rise to the occasion.
Tonight, we gather for the Farewell Presentation Dinner—a stunning evening where we not only recognise today’s winners, but also crown our overall champions on the big stage. It’s a night to remember, featuring free-flowing beverages, authentic local Thai flavours, and plenty of laughter and storytelling as we reflect on the week that was. A proper send-off to an unforgettable tournament.
