This is two very different golf experiences woven into one unforgettable journey.
It begins with the Vietnam Invitational: a vibrant week of tournament golf, beachfront relaxation and new friendships in Da Nang. Based at Fusion Resort, you’ll play some of Central Vietnam’s most celebrated courses, from the mountain drama of Ba Na Hills to the strategic challenge of Montgomerie Links and the Norman Course at Legend Da Nang.
The golf is exceptional, but what makes the week truly special is everything around it—the laughter after a round, drinks by the pool and the camaraderie that comes from sharing a great destination with fellow golfers.
Then the journey changes pace.
After the excitement of the Invitational, a smaller group will continue south for a few extra nights in the heart of Hoi An. You’ve already travelled all the way to Vietnam, so why rush home when somewhere this enchanting is waiting?
Hoi An invites you to slow down. Wake to the aroma of Vietnamese coffee, wander streets lined with golden buildings, discover small restaurants hidden down ancient laneways and watch the town glow as hundreds of lanterns light the river at night.
And then there’s Hoiana Shores.
In my opinion, it is undoubtedly the best golf course in the region—and one of the finest in Asia. Wild, beautiful and wonderfully strategic, it’s a course that reveals more of itself each time you play.
One round simply isn’t enough, so we’re playing it twice.
That’s what makes this journey so special. First comes the energy, competition and camaraderie of the Vietnam Invitational. Then comes the intimacy of Hoi An: a smaller group, a slower rhythm and two unforgettable rounds at Hoiana Shores.
If you can spare a few more nights, make the most of your airfare and experience the journey properly.
Come for the Invitational. Stay for Hoi An.
I think you’ll fall in love with both.

Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our local team and transferred directly to Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang.
Located along the coastline of Da Nang, Fusion will be our exclusive host venue for the week. After checking into your spacious golf-view suite, take some time to settle in, explore the resort or simply relax by the pool before the celebrations begin.
As the sun begins to set, join your fellow golfers for our official Welcome Party by the beach. Enjoy a fun evening with pass-around food, beer, wine and soft drinks as you meet the players, hosts and tournament team who will share the week with you.
It’s a relaxed introduction to the Invitational and the beginning of what promises to be a very special week in Vietnam.
After breakfast, we begin the golfing week with a morning practice round at Montgomerie Links.
Created by European golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, the course blends wind-shaped dunes, native vegetation, strategically positioned bunkers and large, undulating greens. Its links-inspired design provides an enjoyable opening challenge and the perfect opportunity to prepare for the tournament rounds ahead.
Today’s format will be a social Two-Ball Better Ball competition, allowing you to meet other players, settle into the conditions and enjoy a relaxed first taste of golf in Da Nang.
While the golfers are out on the course, non-golfing guests are invited to enjoy a relaxing afternoon high tea at Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang. Savour an elegant selection of sweet and savoury treats accompanied by tea, coffee and beverages, all served in the resort's beautiful surroundings. It's the perfect opportunity to unwind, socialise with fellow travellers and enjoy a leisurely afternoon before rejoining the golfers later in the day.
Following the round, return to Fusion Resort with time to relax before gathering for our first 19th Hole. Enjoy canapés, beer, wine and soft drinks while the day’s results are announced and stories from the course begin to flow.
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the resort before departing for the opening round of the Da Nang Invitational.
Set at the foot of the Ba Na mountain range, Ba Na Hills Golf Club is surrounded by native forest and dramatic mountain scenery. It is the first course in the world designed by former World Number One Luke Donald and is recognised as one of Vietnam’s most celebrated golf venues.
With an afternoon tee time, players can expect changing light, rolling terrain and a memorable championship test as the Invitational officially gets underway. Players will play with new people each day within their respective division. The 54 hole championship will be played as a single stableford for B & C Grades and stroke & single stableford for A Grade. Daily winners will be awarded with prizes within each division as well as NTPs.
For our Non Golfers, we invite you to step back in time with a guided visit to My Son Sanctuary, one of Vietnam's most significant UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Once the spiritual heart of the ancient Champa Kingdom, My Son is home to remarkable temple ruins nestled amongst lush countryside and centuries of fascinating history. Following your guided tour, enjoy a relaxed lunch with beverages before returning to the resort, having experienced one of Central Vietnam's most iconic cultural attractions.
After golf, return to the resort for the evening’s 19th Hole presentation. Relax with canapés and free-flow beer, wine and soft drinks as we recognise the opening-round winners and relive the highlights of the day.
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. We will be offering complimentary transfers into the ancient city of Hoi An for those who wish to explore this incredible destination for the day.
Or you may wish to spend the day relaxing beside the resort pool, visit the spa, enjoy the beachfront surroundings or explore the nearby cities of Da Nang and Hoi An. After three consecutive days of festivities and golf, it is the perfect opportunity to recharge before the final two tournament rounds.
For golfers looking for something different, an optional twilight night-golf experience will be available on the Nicklaus Course at Legend Da Nang Golf Resort.
Played as a fun match-play event, the evening will combine golf, music, food and beverages under the lights. The Nicklaus Course is known for its wide fairways, distinctive timber-faced bulkheads and water-lined holes inspired by the resort courses of Florida.
Participation in the twilight event is optional and can be added separately.
Following breakfast and a relaxed morning at Fusion Resort, we travel to Legend Da Nang Golf Resort for Round Two of the Invitational.
Designed by Greg Norman, the Norman Course was created in a traditional links style across the natural sandy terrain of Vietnam’s central coastline. Exposed dunes, native vegetation, strategic bunkering and coastal winds combine to create a genuine championship challenge.
For the Non Golfers you’ll be head to the mountains aboard one of the world's longest cable cars to Ba Na Hills, home to the world-famous Golden Bridge, spectacular mountain scenery and the charming French Village. Spend the day exploring the gardens, boutique shops and European-inspired streets while taking in breathtaking panoramic views across Da Nang. A leisurely lunch with beverages is included before returning to the resort, making this one of the most memorable sightseeing experiences in Central Vietnam.
One of the highlights is the par-three 16th, where an elevated green is guarded by deep bunkers and framed by views across the East Sea and Cham Islands.
With another afternoon tee time, the competition will begin to take shape as players position themselves ahead of tomorrow’s final round. Players will play with new people each day within their respective division. The 54 hole championship will be played as a single stableford for B & C Grades and stroke & single stableford for A Grade. Daily winners will be awarded with prizes within each division as well as NTPs.
After golf, we return to the resort for the evening’s 19th Hole, complete with canapés, flowing beer, wine and soft drinks, daily presentations and plenty of friendly debate over the tournament leaderboard.

While many of the group begin their journey home today, yours is only just getting started.
After breakfast, we'll travel south along Vietnam's spectacular coastline to Hoiana Resort & Golf, home to one of the country's most celebrated golf courses.
Upon arrival, check into your luxurious accommodation before enjoying the afternoon at leisure. Relax by the pool, explore the resort, stroll the ancient sidewalks and alley ways or simply enjoy a slower pace after an exciting tournament week.
Tonight, we’ll come together for dinner at the iconic Mango Mango—one of Hoi An’s most celebrated restaurants—before looking forward to two unforgettable days of golf.
Today you'll experience what many golfers consider the finest golf course in Vietnam.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Hoiana Shores embraces the natural coastline with rolling dunes, firm running fairways and spectacular ocean views throughout the round. Every hole feels connected to the landscape, creating a genuine links-style experience rarely found anywhere in Asia.
While the golfers take on Hoiana Shores, non-golfers will travel to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An, one of Vietnam's most charming and well-preserved historic destinations. During today's experience, you'll take part in a traditional lantern-making workshop, learning the centuries-old craft that has become synonymous with Hoi An. Guided by local artisans, you'll create your own handcrafted lantern to take home—a meaningful keepsake and a wonderful reminder of your time in Vietnam. Afterwards, enjoy free time to wander the lantern-lined streets, browse the boutique shops, cafés and riverside markets, or simply soak up the relaxed atmosphere before returning to the resort later in the afternoon.
There is something special about playing a great golf course for the second time.
You know where to miss it, where to be aggressive and which parts of the course demand a little more patience. You may even convince yourself that today is the day you will find those few extra shots.
With the layout now more familiar, this is your opportunity to approach Hoiana Shores with a fresh strategy and a greater appreciation for the details that make the course so memorable.
Today is simply about enjoying one last round on Vietnam’s spectacular central coastline before the journey home begins.
After an unforgettable final round at Hoiana Shores, there’s no better way to bring our Hoi An extension to a close than with a farewell dinner in the prestigious clubhouse. Raise a glass, share stories from the week and enjoy one last evening together—the perfect finale to an exceptional golf journey.
After breakfast, it's time to check out and begin the journey home.
Hopefully you'll leave with another two unforgettable rounds under your belt, a camera full of photos and one final golf course you'll be talking about long after you've returned home.
