Deposit Schedule
Most Journeys will only be required to pay $500 upfront, with the balance payable falling due the month prior to tour departure.
Fully Transferable
If you can’t make it on tour but know someone who can. You can transfer your spot to a new golfer at anytime - no questions asked.
Trip Cancellation
We understand plans change, so we offer flexible options to cancel and rebook. Most journeys provide a 100% refund up to 56 days before travel.

Hassle-Free Booking
At Golf Journeys, we take pride in offering unmatched booking flexibility and customer care. We provide a 100% refund, we don't charge admin or application processing fees. You'll be entitled to a refund subject to supplier contracts, because your peace of mind is our top priority. From the moment you book, we ensure transparency by clearly advising you of these terms online. If there are any non-refundable items, like flights or similar, we communicate this to you upfront, so you can book with complete confidence, knowing that your needs always come first.
Travel Insurance
All travel involves risks, we recommend you take out suitable travel insurance and some journeys will require it. When on tour, keep the policy number and insurance phone number with you while on holiday.

We also request you leave a copy of the policy with a family member or friend.
Booking Terms

1. Booking Terms & Conditions

This agreement sets out the standard booking terms and conditions of Golf Journeys Pty Ltd (referred to in this document as ‘Golf Journeys’ and ‘Event Organisers’) a company registered in Australia.

It is important that you the ‘booker’ read this document in full before booking and guests read this document before their departure. Any references to ‘you’ are to you, the booker, who has contracted with Golf Journeys either in your own right or on behalf of others. The “Event Start Date’ refers to the official day that a tour/tournament begins as per the Golf Journeys website, for customised golf vacations your ‘Event Start Date’ will be detailed in your itinerary. ‘Package’ refers to a Tournament, Tour or Golf Vacation organised by Golf Journeys.

2. The Nature of These Terms

As soon as any payment is made, a contract will automatically arise between you and Golf Journeys, giving both parties respective duties and obligations under that contract. These terms and conditions will from the basis of any contract between you and Golf Journeys.

Golf Journeys reserves the right to make reasonable changes to these terms and conditions at any time where such changes are necessary. Such changes will take effect when the updated terms and conditions are uploaded to the Golf Journeys website.

3. Payment Schedule

A minimum deposit of 20% is to accompany the booking form. Any remaining balance is due and payable on the 1st day of the month prior to the event start date. For instance, events commencing in June are payable on the 1st of May.

4. Hassle-Free Booking

Our Hassle-Free Booking process has been introduced for your complete peace of mind. We understand you may need to adjust your plans, so we’re offering the flexibility to change your travel arrangements or re-book for a more suitable time if needed. For any journeys that have specific cancellation terms due to supplier contracts, these will be communicated clearly to you, for all other journeys, our standard terms will apply;

  • 100% refund if you cancel 56 days or more before your departure
  • Up to 20% payable if you cancel between 30 - 55 days before your departure
  • Up to 100% payable if you cancel 29 days or less before your departure date.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations by client must be in writing to Golf Journeys.

Additionally, we provide a 48-hour window from the time of booking during which you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund for all payments made via a phone call or email.

6. Transfer Of Booking

If you can’t make it on tour but know someone who can. You can transfer your spot to a new golfer at anytime - no cancellation fees will apply. You may be liable to pay cancellation fees to air carriers and other third parties that require name as per booking.

7. Trip Cancellation

Should a tour or tournament be cancelled due to not reaching the minimum required number of participants a full refund will be made.

8. Travel Insurance

All travel involves risks, we strongly recommend that all travellers take out suitable travel insurance. When on tour, keep the policy number and insurance phone number with you while on holiday. We also request you leave a copy of the policy with a family member or friend.

9. Unavailable Services

Golf Journeys is committed to providing our guests with a seamless and enjoyable tour experience. However, in rare instances where certain services, such as accommodations, golf courses, venues, or other inclusions, become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control, we will take proactive measures to find suitable alternatives of similar standard.

While we strive to adhere to the original tour itinerary and package inclusions, we acknowledge that circumstances may arise that necessitate adjustments to the arrangements. In such cases, Golf Journeys will promptly notify the affected guests and provide transparent communication regarding the changes.

Our team of dedicated professionals will diligently work to identify and secure alternative options that closely match the quality and level of service initially promised. We may engage with reputable suppliers, venues, or courses to ensure that any replacements are of equivalent or higher standard, whenever feasible.

Golf Journeys will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that any adjustments do not compromise the overall tour experience or significantly impact the tour's essence. We understand the importance of delivering on our commitments and will diligently source alternative solutions to meet our guests' expectations.

10. Pricing

Prices are based on per person unless otherwise stated in the booking form.

In the unlikely instance of suppliers unable to provide services promised, or tax increases, Golf Journeys reserves the right to re-cost and amend packages. Should this occur, Golf Journeys will promptly communicate any changes to you and ensure they are to a similar standard to the original package inclusions.

Pricing and availability may change as packages in some circumstances are costed many months prior to the event start date. Any package inclusions or itinerary changes will be communicated in advance and are expected to be minimal should there be any at all.

11. Limit of Liability

Golf Journeys does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including but limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, fold acts of god, acts of government or any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery of equipment or industrial action.

Details of any tour may change due to circumstances outside of our control. In the event of changes, Golf Journeys will source a similar standard course, hotels & venues where possible. Golf Journeys as an agent on behalf of it’s suppliers contracted to deliver packages provided and does not accept responsibility of any act or omission of the suppliers.

12. Official Handicaps

For tours and tournaments where there is a competition aspect, competitors agree to provide event organisers with access to their official handicap (endorsed by your national golf association). For participants who have provided online access to their handicap Event Organisers will access your handicap and check your 12-month playing history. Event Organisers reserve the right to approve, amend or deny handicaps after they have conducted a score history check. Your official handicap will be communicated to you prior to the event start date.

13. Visas & Passports:

It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents. You must ensure that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas to enter any country you are visiting, including transit stops, prior to your departure.

Golf Journeys is not responsible, nor accept liability, for any traveller refused entry due to carrying the incorrect documentation.

14. Your Behaviour & Responsibilities

If, in the reasonable opinion of event organisers or the reasonable opinion of any service providers of any part of your package, while on holiday your behaviour poses a danger to you or those around you, causes or is likely to cause damage to property of our suppliers or property of third parties, breaches any local law, is abusive or threatening, causes or is likely to be a public nuisance or you do not follow the instructions set by event organisers or any service provider, Golf Journeys reserves the right to immediately cancel your booking without refund.  

15. Prizes & Promotions

All prizes will be distributed in accordance with the rules of amateur golf status.

Entries to any giveaway are only provided as a promotional prize to Members or Customers of Golf Journeys and cannot be purchased and will not be sold separately.

Entrants who book & pay a minimum deposit prior to the early bird date as set per each tournament/tour on the Golf Journeys website will receive promotional items on the event start date and not before. Should a competitor cancel or not pay the remaining balance by the due date, they will automatically forfeit any early bird promotional items.

16. Media Promotion

Golf Journeys may arrange media promotion and publicity. Participants consent to pictures of them appearing and being used for purposes determined by Golf Journeys, unless a participant has otherwise stated in writing, they wish for their image not to be used.

17. Indemnity Disclaimer

The Booker and accompanying guests in agree to participate in a Golf Journeys package at their own risk. Event organisers, Golf Journeys and any other supplier of goods and services accept no liability for any death, injury, property loss or damage incurred during or arising out of any aspect of the package.

To drive a motorised cart, the booker and accompanying guests agree to possess a current driver’s license and have previous experience driving a golf cart equal to a minimum of five rounds. In any event of an accident, the driver is responsible for the costs to repair the cart and any property damaged as well as being liable for any personal injury claims. Guests agree to use motorised carts responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Golf Journeys shall not be liable for any misuse or improper operation of motorised carts.

18. Special Requirements

It is of utmost importance that the booker or guests inform Golf Journeys in writing about any special needs and requirements well in advance, to allow us to make suitable arrangements and ensure the utmost care during the tours or events. By notifying us of any specific needs, such as medical conditions or disabilities, we can tailor our services and facilities accordingly, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Golf Journeys cannot be held responsible for any failure to inform us about special needs or requirements that may impact upon any individual's participation in the event. Therefore, it is the onus of the booker or guests to disclose such information, enabling us to take necessary precautions and make appropriate arrangements.

Furthermore, it is essential that all attendees ensure they are in good health and fit to participate in the tours or events. By attending the tour, each participant acknowledges that they are responsible for their own health and well-being during the event. Golf Journeys does not accept liability for any medical conditions or health issues that may arise during the tour due to undisclosed pre-existing medical conditions or attendees' failure to disclose their health status.

If any of the courses included in the itinerary are designated as 'walking only' and attendees require the use of a motorised cart due to a medical condition or disability, it is the responsibility of the booker or guests to provide a valid medical certificate in advance. While we make every effort to accommodate such requests, please note that Golf Journeys cannot guarantee the availability of a motorised cart at every course.

By participating in our tours or events, each attendee agrees to take responsibility for their health, disclose any relevant medical information, and adhere to the advice and guidelines provided by Golf Journeys to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

19. Host's Duty of Care

During the scheduled activities of the tour, Golf Journeys' designated hosts are committed to providing assistance, guidance, and support to ensure the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of our guests. Our hosts will diligently accompany the participants during official tour activities, such as golf rounds and scheduled events.

However, it is essential to clarify that outside of the official tour activities and scheduled hours, the duty of care provided by our hosts does not extend to private, independent, or unsupervised activities engaged in by the guests. Such activities may include, but are not limited to, personal outings, dinners, social events, or leisure activities not organised or supervised by Golf Journeys.

Furthermore, Golf Journeys may engage the services of third-party operators, such as local guides or activity providers, to enhance the overall tour experience. While we take due diligence in selecting reputable operators, we cannot accept any liability for the actions, omissions, or services provided by these third-party operators. Guests may engage with these operators at their own discretion and risk, and Golf Journeys will not be held liable for any actions, omissions, or services provided by third-party operators.

Golf Journeys encourages all guests to exercise caution, use good judgment, and enjoy their leisure time responsibly and respectfully, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

20. Reselling

Golf Journeys does not permit reselling of its products without prior written consent. Golf Journeys does however, work with authorised partners in various locations around the world to promote it’s services and packages.

21. Force Majeure

Golf Journeys shall not be deemed in breach of this Agreement or held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, governmental actions, labor disputes, power failures, and other unforeseeable events (collectively referred to as 'Force Majeure Events').

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Golf Journeys shall promptly notify the affected guests in writing, providing details of the Force Majeure Event and its impact on the scheduled tours, tournaments, or golf vacations. Golf Journeys will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of the Force Majeure Event and endeavor to resume the affected services as soon as practicable.

During the period of the Force Majeure Event, the affected guests and Golf Journeys agree to mutually cooperate to find suitable alternatives and solutions to mitigate any potential losses or inconvenience caused by the event. This may include rescheduling tours or offering credits for future use, subject to availability and agreement between the parties.

If a Force Majeure Event substantially prevents the fulfillment of Golf Journeys' obligations under this Agreement, and if the parties are unable to reach a satisfactory resolution or an alternative cannot be agreed upon, either party shall have the right to terminate this Agreement without any penalty or liability.

Golf Journeys shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or expenses incurred by the affected guests arising from or in connection with a Force Majeure Event, except to the extent required by law.

This Force Majeure clause is without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to Golf Journeys under this Agreement or at law.
